Cpl. Christopher Orlando

I'm sure you are all aware that one of the Marines who was killed in the helicopter accident off the coast of Hawaii last week was Cpl. Christopher Orlando, a 2010 graduate of Hingham High School and a HYH Alum. Rich Orlando, his father, was also a coach for many years with HYH.

Today (Tuesday, January 26) his family will be returning from the memorial service that was held in Hawaii. Their plane lands at 6:12 pm and they will be escorted by the police to their home. We anticipate that they will be exiting the highway about 7 pm.

Friends of the family will be lining Main Street, East Street, and Summer Street as the motorcade goes by.
In Cpl Orlando's honor, they will be holding flags and other signs of support. In show of support we are asking players and HYH family members to wear your HYH jersey or jackets. Please consider attending the motorcade to show your support at this very difficult time for the family.

HHS will be flying the official flag from the Flags for Soldiers campaign on their flag poles in his honor.

Thank you
HYH Board
